Time Zone Layer

(Full functionality is available to Pro plan subscribers and above and selected bundle users. Upgrade now to take your filtering options to the next level!)

The MarineTraffic family of Layers has adopted yet another interesting layer, the Time Zone layer, that you can use to improve your time perception. Like all layers, you can combine it with any of the available Map Types or other MarineTraffic features (Fleets, Filters, Layers) to get the information you want directly on the Live Map

For your information, a Time Zone is a region of the globe that observes a uniform standard time for legal, business, and social purposes. Coordinated Universal Time (abbreviated to UTC) is the essential time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time and is displayed in this layer.

To activate it, simply click on the corresponding checkbox in the Layers section of the Live Map Toolbar.

Detect any vessel on the Live Map, hover over the surrounding area and you will be able to tell the Time Zone (GMT-based) there, on the top right corner.
