What can I do if I am experiencing issues with the app?

Below you will find some basic steps you can follow so as to quickly resolve any potential issues with the MarineTraffic mobile app on your own.


If you are using the MarineTraffic application from your iOS device, try the following:

1st solution
Force close the app, force restart device, open the app and check again.

2nd solution
Update the app.

3rd solution
Uninstall the app, restart the device, and install the app again. Then check again.

If you are using the MarineTraffic application from your Android device, try the following:

1st solution
Clear cache & cookies and app data in your device settings.
Kindly note that you need to locate our application in your app-related settings in order to proceed with this step.

2nd solution
Update the app.

3rd solution
Uninstall the app (if any app offers to clear leftover files, please allow it), restart the device, and install the app again. Then please check again. 

Note I: If you have installed a very old version of the MarineTrafficapp, you will not be able to re-download it, so do not try the 3rd solution suggested in both operating systems.

Note II: The MarineTraffic mobile app has been replaced by a free version.
As a gesture of goodwill to users that had installed the paid version of the app, they have been provided with the Starter plan of the free MarineTraffic mobile app, for one year.
