Custom Area detail page

The Custom Area details page is aimed to provide users with an overview of the activities that take place within their custom area.       unnamed.gif

You can access your Custom Area detail page, by searching for the name of your custom area on the main search bar as shown below:

In this article, we will learn about the following:

Heading and general information

This section is located at the upper left corner of the page and it provides you with an overview of the area.

Area preview

In this section of the page, you will see your custom area displayed on a smaller version of the Live Map.

Vessels currently in area

This section provides you with a detailed list of vessels that are currently and had been in the area for more than 24 hours, together with their names and the date of when they entered the area. unnamed__2_.png

Note: this table is only available when you have created a notification for this area or if you are subscribed to the Professional Plus service. 

Vessels recently crossed area

This table provides you with a list of vessels that have crossed your Custom Area within the last 24 hours, along with their name, cross-area date and time, and speed when crossing the area. unnamed__3_.png

Vessel recently entered area

This section shows all the vessels that have entered the area within the last 24 hours, together with their name and speed at entrance. unnamed__4_.png

 

Vessels recently left area

This section displays all the vessels that have left the area within the last 24 hours, along with their name, entered area, distance (NM), and Time Elapsed. 

  • Distance (NM): Average distance traveled by vessels while in an area
  • Time Elapsed: Average time spent by vessels in an area

Note: Tables pertaining to vessels that entered, left, and crossed an area are only applicable when you have created a notification for your custom area with such preference. If no notification is created, a prompt to create notification will be displayed.
