Just new to AIS and wanted to know how I enter the journey so it shows on Marine Traffic

  Hello Neil,

  Thanks for reaching out.

  Let me explain that voyage information is AIS transmitted and we display the data we receive from signals. As such, it is necessary to update your transponder accordingly.

  However, we are not able to provide assistance with how to update the transponder. I recommend you contact the AIS manufacturer.

  Also, note that if it is Class B AIS, you most probably will not be able to add the voyage details as there are no such options and only when the voyage is performed we will track it and keep it in our data as historical data.
