Not seeing SAT AIS ships when logged in.
If I'm not logged in I can see both terrestrial and SAT AIS receptions. When I'm logged in with Fleet Mode turned off I cannot see any SAT AIS receptions, only terrestrial receptions. How do I enable seeing SAT AIS receptions when logged in?

Hello,
Please go to My Account/ Preferences:
https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/users/my_account/users/settings
and enable the "Also show anonymised (SAT-AIS) vessels on the Live Map" option.
If you are interested in accessing all available information for vessels with positions received via Satellite, you may consider upgrading your account to the Sat plan:

For a few days I was able to see all traffic when logged in. But as of yesterday, the system has returned to not showing SAT AIS when logged in.
Also, I have noticed a new problem. At least one specific vessel is being updated by satellites but when viewing this vessel in fleet mode the data is 40 days old. I know it is being updated because I know its location by other means and see it with fleet mode turned off. Clicking on its icon pops up a window indicating it has been updated in the last 1 to 12 hours.

Apologies, I believe I've determined the problem of not seeing recent SAT updates. My annual billing apparently did not occur properly and my upgrade was canceled. Since creating my account I changed email addresses and did not update the billing email address in your data base. I've corrected this error, added the SAT1 extension, and all appears to be working correctly.

I've been away for a while and starting using MT again. The problem I first reported is still there. When logged in I do not see SAT vessels in mid ocean. When logged out I see many SAT vessels. Also, I have started using the mobile app on my iphone and see a similar problem. On the iphone and logged in I can see SAT vessels only when the scale is 50 nmi and greater. When the scale is 20 nmi and less the SAT vessels disappear.

Hello again,
When you are logged out, you cannot avoid seeing the SAT vessels. Once you log in and select the respective option, the SAT vessels will be removed.
As for the case regarding the mobile app I would suggest we arrange a teamviewer session in order to check it together.
I have sent you a private email requesting for more info on this case.
I remain at your disposal.
Best regards,

Sorry, enabling anonymized vessels did not help. Also, I do have a SAT plan - tracking one vessel. Just to recap; when logged in I only see terrestrial vessels, when logged out I set both terrestrial and SAT vessels.
FYI, in a few days I'll be away from internet for a week or so. If you reply doing this time I get back with you when I have internet access. Thanks for your help.
