    Dear Thomas,

Thank you for waiting and my apologies for the delay.

It took us a bit more time than we expected to resolve your issue, but your 'Latest Position Received' filter should now work properly.
Can you please check and confirm that is the case?

    Thank you in advance.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,

    Hello Thomas,

    Thank you for contacting us.

May I ask if you have searched for this vessel or it was just displayed after setting the filters?

I tried to reproduce the case you are describing and the aforementioned vessel was not on the Live Map.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Best regards,

No i did not search for this particular vessel, it just showed up when i applied "Filters" --> "Other Particulars" --> "Flag" = Sweden. After that i applied "Filters" --> "Last Position Received" = Up to a day ago.

    Same result.

(I took this vessel as an example since it was very old. But there are many other positions that are more than a day old.

I tried in a new incognito window today again just to sort out any cache issues. Same result.
New session... "Filters" --> "Other Particulars" --> "Flag" = Greece

    Hello Thomas,

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the case you are describing.

Would you please be kind enough to try clearing the cache and cookies of your Browser? Here are some guides to walk you through:
    http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache
    http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cookies
If you are still facing issues after that, please try a different browser? That’ll help me rule in/out the browser as the suspect here.

Thank you, in advance, for your reply.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

    Best regards,

    Hi!

    Sorry for the delay!

As i wrote i have used "Incognito" mode in Chrome. If you use Incognito-mode no cookies, cache or other settings are used. Its a clean browser window that will not save any information after its closed.

In Internet Explorer its called "InPrivate" mode.

I have attached a short clip which i hope you can see. This is a test via Internet Explorer which i have NEVER used to visit MarineTraffic on. In addition i run a new session in "InPrivate" mode. So absolutely no cookies or cache.

As you can see in the clip at 1:00 i apply "Greece" as flag and "Last position received = Up to 2 days ago" still:

1:23 Sunset Exclusive, position received 2017-07-17
    1:29 Uris, position received 2017-04-28
    ....
    1:39 Taxiaraeis Position received 2008-12-28(!!!)

Am i doing something wrong or misunderstood this feature? Im not sure... :)

Also this has been tested on two other computers, one was my girlfriends which 100% has never visited Marinetraffic before :)

    See the clip here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15769913/bandicam%202017-08-06%2022-31-46-969.avi
