    Hello Garðar,

Thank you for contacting MarineTraffic Support.

Can you please be more specific about which vessel you are talking?

Is there any possibility you could provide me with her MMSI number?

    Kind regards,

    Good Day

One of our vessels, the ex-Mercs Uva (IMO no.9352341) has had her name changed to INDUSTRIAL HOBART (one of her former names actually) due to a change in Charterer. Everything else, Ownership, Management, Flag, Class, etc, remains the same. If you need please find attached the new Registry.

    Kind Regards

    Capt Mehran Wahid

    Dear William,

    Thank you for contacting us.

From what I can see, your vessel SCOUT is a vessel that does not have an IMO number.
In this case, the change in name can only happen from your AIS transponder, as the fields are set to be automatically updated.

I have looked into her record and the latest AIS static data received was at 2017-11-18 14:20 LT (UTC -5) and her name was still Scout.
As such, you will need to update your transponder with the new name and then leave it active for a couple of days.
As soon as our stations receive the necessary amount of signals, the update will be automatic.
Please note that this needs to happen in an area under our terrestrial network coverage.
You can check that with these instructions.

As for the photos, do you mean that one of the photos is for SCOUT, while the other for another vessel?

Thank you in advance for your response.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,
