    Thanks for reaching out.

    It's my understanding you have recently changed your mobile device and would like to know whether you need to re-purchase the services you had purchased on the previous platform.

    Kindly note that Google Store and App Store are two different online stores, supported by Google and Apple respectively.

    Given the above, MarineTraffic has developed 2 different applications compatible with each platform. Considering you changed from Android to iOS, you should download the MarineTraffic application from App Store.

    Please also note that the purchases made in the App are processed through the online store of your respective platform. This means that the App is linked to the specific account used to purchase it.

    Therefore, upon switching from an Android device to an iOS mobile device (and vice versa), the service(s) will need to be purchased again.

    I have the same issue. Requiring two subscriptions is a joke. The subscription should be linked to our MarineTraffic login and recognised no matter what device we use. Poor practice and a rip off. Do better.
