    Hello Simon,

Upon checking the case internally I would like to bring to your attention the following:

Jintang Port is a different entity from Ningbo, most of the time especially in China port infrastructures are crowded next to each other it's not clear if separated or not. We have received feedback from port authorities and maritime companies in order to clarify these cases. According to these Jintang port should be a unique port.

    Hi Anastasiya,

Thank you for your response, but there is still the matter of the LOCODE. If JINTANG is being presented as it's own port, then we must be able to receive a LOCODE to properly map events at the following berth.

Speaking of berth - even the name of the terminal "Zhousan Yangzhou Container Terminal" suggests that the JINTANG operations are a subsidiary of Ningbo Zhousan Ports Group.

If your team still feels confident that the two should remain separated we would request that you please provide a LOCODE for the port.

    Thank you for your help,

    Hello Simon,

Upon checking internally I would like to note the following:

Not all ports are assigned a UN/LOCODE. After downloading all UN/LOCODEs from UNECE and visualizing them on a map (labeled with pink markers), it becomes evident that there is no corresponding UN/LOCODE for Jintang. Also, sometimes there is no coordinates provided, but even when searching by name, no unlocode for ‘Jintang’ is found.

Despite the above you still can track events related to the subject port.

I remain at your disposal for anything further.

    Kind regards,
