NGLOS: please separate TIN CAN & APAPA into two distinct ports

Please consider separating TIN CAN ISLAND/LAGOS and APAPA into two separate ports. The vessels are making distinct calls to one or the other, carriers have them separated into two separate ports, and the Nigerian port authority also recognizes them as two separate ports.

If not, then please help us understand the logic of keeping them combined?

  Hello again, Simon,

  Following up on our last communication, our appropriate team investigated it and note that, due to the special morphology of the Lagos area, any further separation of port geometry may result in a missed or incorrect call.

  I hope it clarifies.
