Can't find vessel

We had a collision in Croatia on the 12th of August. In the playback(Pro Plus), we cannot find the vessel we collided with in the area where the crash happened, even though the vessel was built after 2004 and should have an AIS transponder. 

What could be the reasons for the vessels not showing up? it happened at around 10:30 - 11:00 UTC slightly off the west coast of Unije and was an Italian sailboat going not by sail but by motor at the time. I do not have an MMSI or IMO, but we are trying to retrieve this information from the police.

The vessel was towed to the ACI marina in Pula after the crash but still, does not show up on the map.

TLDR:
- Can't find a vessel that should be on the map
- What can be the reasons for not seeing it?
- Any other ideas how we can find out the course of this vessel?

  I made an error, it happened west to Otocic Grunj (N44°54'52.85 | E013°43'05.46)

  Thank you very much Neiriz, I just sent you all the information I have via the ticketing system. The owner of the vessel did not write its IMO on the crash report, which I attached to the ticket. Do you have any tips what else we can do to find the vessel?
