Empty search box
Had about a dozen vessels in my 'search' box but they've all disappeared & I can't add anything back in.
I'm just an amateur coastal watcher for the main part, but I follow a few 'old friends' around the globe, or at least I used to.
What's happened? Everything was fine last night, but this morning? It's currently an un-user-friendly system - and I can't see on the internet that the site is down. Is this the new MarineTraffic, permanently?

Ticket #234145
Hi, presuming you mean my email inbox, but I've checked it and there's nothing of relevance in it?
(All emails come in, even those designated as spam)
Now: serious question, not asked with malice or annoyance! Is my usage, as an amateur, using up your bandwidth & is marinetraffic.com seeking to make the website less accessible for people like me? I spent a while trying to re-constitute my former experience with the website, and it was sooo difficult, with so many cul-de-sacs.
The worst part was putting vessel names into the search box - and nothing happening. Was that just a blip, or is there now a special way of using the search box that's a bit beyond my limited understanding?
Hopefully somebody can help. I'm an old lady who lives by the sea, who enjoys watching the vessels going up and down the Channel, and sometimes dropping anchor in the Bay - and sometimes following them virtually around the globe. I wish I'd known you guys were going to empty my 'searched' box - I'd written the names down online but nowhere else & it was always an adventure revisiting them. I'm going to miss them.
Is there any way of getting the names back, in the first instance?

Hello Lee,
First of all I would like to apologies for any inconvenience caused. I regret the fact that your recent experience was that one.
I would like to confirm that the search box of the Live Map is working properly as can be seen in the below screenshot:
Further to that, allow me to explain that the list of the vessels under the search bar is not static and is updated along with the search activity.
Please note that in case there was performed cleaning of the browser cache and cookies, the list of vessels resets to zero.
As such, the best solution would be the Fleet creation with the vessels of your interest.
I hope the above clarifies the case.
Let me know if you have any further concerns.Kind regards,
