Search needs IMPROVEMENT
I have gotten use to the new formatting for the most part. But two things really bug me. The new picture display is awful, as I think I mentioned previously. So many pictures get squished and look terrible until you open them.
But my BIGGEST annoyance is with the search function. I spent a long time on the chat before I finally got an explanation. When I search for a common ship name - for example PRIDE - I get a short list of entries, none of which are the tug I am looking for. I can not use arrow or page up/down keys to see additional entries. After much effort, the chat person FINALLY understood my issue. How do I get to more entries to find my vessel? Well, it turns out the only way I can do this on my Windows notebook is to run two fingers up my touchpad/trackpad. Talk about nonintuitive! This finally gets me to the bottom where I can choose the option to see all the entries with my search term.
As I said at the start, I have settled in with most of the new features but this is really a pain. It is hard to run my two fingers up the trackpad without sometimes clicking on an entry I don't want & then having to start all over. Can't you show this additional entries prompt in the original search box at the bottom without scrolling to it? Or at least make the down arrow or page down buttom go to it. Just very nonintuitive as now designed.
