Incorrect vessel icon..

Hello, without reason our vessel icon has switched to “Navigation Aid” from “Pleasure Vessel”. I confirmed my AIA setting on my Furuno FA-150 and it displays correctly. Is this something you can change on your end? Can’t seem to find where I can do it. Thanks in advance!

 

It has now arbitrarily changed to “Fishing Bessel”. But when you open the boat info still shows “navigational aid”…

What’s going on??

    Please note that MarineTraffic is a global ship tracking intelligence that relies on AIS-transmitted data. Meaning that most of the information available in our platform is automatically updated according to the AIS signals we receive from the vessel's transponders.

    With this being said, I would highly suggest for you to check the information within the AIS Transponder on board the vessel for us to make sure that the information on the vessel is of the right one.
    If not, you may change it to the right one and as soon as we receive the required number of transmissions from your vessel, the change is automatically made on the vessel's Detail Page.
