email notifications
I tend to monitor shipping in inland / river environments. This means that I very rapidly receive emails as new location is passed by my fleet (thus bombarding me with emails which are of no real interest). I would prefer to switch the automatic email feature completely off, rather than wait for my monthly quota to be used up (at which point I have some peace and quiet). I guess I could apply a "spam" type of filter but it would be more efficient use of internet resources to prevent the messages being sent in the first place. Does anyone know of a way that I can disable the email notifications?

Dear Donald,
Thank you for contacting us.
The docked/undocked option refers to the arrival and departures notifications.
As such, the Arrival/Departure notifications need to be activated for the docked/undocked option to work.
This will limit your port Arrival/Departure notifications. However, if the ports you have enabled this for have high traffic, then it is possible your notification quota will be reached quickly, as the quota for a Basic account is 30 e-mail and 30 push notifications.
If you wish to expand your notification limits, you may consider purchasing credits:
https://help.marinetraffic.com/hc/en-us/articles/204083068-Credits
as 1 credit equals 10 e-mail notifications.
Please note the 'Use credits' option needs to be checked in the 'My Notifications' section:

I remain at your disposal for anything else.Kind regards,
