Weather Reports or Weather Forecasts???

I ve checked sometimes the WIND measurements on ships when on vessel's details and i ve found significant differences from real time weather data - at the same time the report from the vessel's ''wind report'' are more close to the forecast and differ from another real time weather measurements like BUOYS,

So the BIG question is: When you click a ship and then choose 'vessel details' then ath the bottom of ''Last Position Received'' there are some WIND measurements - these are real time from some meteo station on the ship or just forecast at this lon/lan of the map?

  furthermore, as you zoom in, the wind information changes - any idea why? Note: the wind strength reduces...

  Thank you for contacting us.

  Our Wind feature depends on Wind Forecasts which are updated on regular intervals, but not from the actual whether conditions at a specified time.
  
  As for the difference in wind when you zoom in, would you please be kind enough to provide me with the general area and a couple of screenshots in order for me to look into this?

  I read that vessels can comunicate to you datas through NMEA connected to a PC do this datas appear somewhere on your app?
