    Hello Elsa,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

My apologies for this late reply, I'm afraid we may have missed your comment.

I assume you are referring to

    https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:673938/mmsi:441392000/vessel:9390719/

Please correct me if I am wrong.

As you may already know, she arrived at DAESAN port on 2019-09-24 09:05 (UTC) and departed from it on 2019-09-25 04:57 (UTC).

The most recent position we received form her was a few minutes ago 2019-09-25 21:14 UTC (Latitude / Longitude: 34.43347° / 125.5883°).

Last but not least, regarding your question about the meaning of a vessel being out of range, I would like to clarify that our system relies on AIS-transmitted data. Meaning most of the information we provide is derived from signals we receive from vessels' AIS transponders.

All MarineTraffic users have access to the positions we receive through our network of coastal stations, while the positions received via satellite are available through our SAT services. When a vessel sails beyond the range of our terrestrial stations, her positions can be receive through satellite.

The SAT positions are available through some of our Single Services:

    https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/online-services/single-services

and through some of our Plans:

    https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/online-services/plans

If you have any questions, please let me know and also share a few details about what you would like to achieve with our services. I would be more than glad to help you choose the solution that would best suit your needs.

    Kind regards,

    Dear Jezra

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this.

Please be advised that the vessel is at the RSEA - Red Sea area, Latitude / Longitude: 18.14882° / 39.91062
and this potions was received on 2020-02-28 08:46 UTC, 8 minutes ago via AIS satellite.

Kindly note that, when you do not see updated positions and/or get the message "out of range", then the vessel is far away from terrestrial stations and can only be tracked via satellite. This is further indicated by a green banner that reads 'Get a Newer Position via satellite'.
While all MarineTraffic users have access to positions recorded by our network of terrestrial stations, satellite AIS positions are available with our satellite services, the SAT Flexible and the SAT Global.
Should you have an interest in this vessel, I would suggest you consider our Sat Flex service that allows you to track via AIS satellite a specific vessel of your choice. Please note that there is also a 7-day free trial of this service so that you can determine if it meets your needs.

I hope the above helps clarify things.
Should you need anything further, please feel free to ask.

    Kind Regards.

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching o

I can see the latest position of NAVE EQUINOS - IMO: 9351634 was received a few minutes ago via satellite. More specifically, on 2020-10-19 22:24 UTC (Latitude / Longitude: 24.0216° / -89.47511°).

Kindly note that, as my dear colleague Christiana mentioned above, the positions received through our network of coastal stations are available to all users, whereas the positions received via satellite are available through our satellite services.

In this case, since you wish to track only one vessel, which is the vessel your husband is onboard, you may consider trying our SAT Flexible service. You may simply go here:

    https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/online-services/single-services/sat-flexible

and start a 7-day free trial on the service by selecting the desired billing period (monthly/annual) and amount of vessels (just one) you will track. This article will help you further:

    Hello Minho,

    Thank you for your post.

I would like to inform you that the last position report from the vessel CMA CGM HOPE has been received on 2023-11-02 09:41 LT (UTC +4) 3 minutes ago at  AG - Persian Gulf at position 25.03028° / 55.04944°

Allow me to mention that the lack of Updated Positions of a vessel can be a result of a number of factors. Signal strength, functional transponder, local (vessel area) and surrounding (nearby stations) weather conditions, temperatures, traffic, and the satellite constellation frequency are some of the most important ones.

I hope the above clarifies your query.

    Kind regards,

    Nei
