    All, Help desk was able to solve my problem by suggesting I upload in .png format. It worked.

    I can no longer upload photos, receive the error message "Please Select ShipName Please Select Mmsi" despite the fact that these are completed. Have been using Firefox and Internet Explorer with the same results!

    4 browsers and a 'users' site and nothing works.  "no photo selected" or similar.  I will not take a good JPEG and convert it to PNG.  If a standard format won't work as has always been the case then it's game over.

    OK.  2 more went through without problem.  I do believe that the red flag info has caused some misunderstanding.  Thanks for checking this out..

    It appears that the ONLY format that is accepted is PNG. I was unable to upload a JPG photo of my boat for days... until I read in this forum that the system accepts PNG format. This requirement is not described in the upload instructions (and should be!).

    Thanks for responding. Four days ago, I attempted several times to upload a .jpg photo. Each time I received an error message saying something like "This photo format is not accepted." (Sorry, I don't recall exactly what it said.). After reading in this forum that others have had similar problems with .jpg and .jpeg photos, I tried and was successful at uploading a .png photo. However, it took 2 days for the photo to finally show up in my boat's account.

    Today, when I attempted to replicate the problem and take a screenshot of the error message, I had no problem at all. I uploaded a .jpg photo, it was immediately accepted, and it showed up in my boat's account within a few minutes. Quite a pleasant contrast to my prior experience.

    Please note that, as it is mentioned in our Photo Upload page her (close to the top):
    https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/photos/upload
    photos need to go through moderation first. If they are approved, they will appear 48 hours after they were uploaded.

    I hope this clarifies the reason it appeared later.

    I.m just wondering if anyone else is having an uploading problem?....and a voting problem? I've tried to vote on Steven Watkins photos of the Glovis Conduvctor and alls I got was a red banner indicating a problem.Can someome tell what the problem is? Thanks ....

    I am having this problem too. It says "The webpage at http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/photos/upload might be temporarily down"

    I cant upload any pics.I tried to delete cache and cookies still wont work. Screenshot attached.

    I have tried on Mozilla firefox and Google chrome browsers. The problem still persists. Same message as attached screenshot in my previous post.

    I have been able to upload 4 pictures of vessels without any problem about 10 hours ago at the time of writing this comment.
