    Hello,
Could you please send me the MMSI of your vessel in order for me to check this further?

Hmm. It appears there might be something additionally wrong with the system if my MMSI number isn't currently visible on the website. It's 235094272

Let me inform you that Amelia is a common name for Sailing boats. Check here:
    https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:3821785/mmsi:269057395/vessel:AMELIA all vessels named AMELIA.
Therefore I asked for the MMSI number in order to identify your vessel.
As for the wrong position displayed we will remove it.
    As you can see here:
http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/index/positions/all/shipid:199481/mmsi:235094272/shipname:AMELIA this is the only position received the last 2 months. Please send us the coordinates of your vessel in order for us to add the current position in our database.
    Best regards,

Okay, I thought the system could identify vessels by their unique MMSI number. So you're saying that it's actually the vessel name (e.g. Amelia) that's tracked instead. So the position of any vessel with a matching name can be mis-identified as being in a different location? I turned on the AIS and it changed my shown position as being back in port. So when I switch my AIS off, will it simply go back and display my position as being the other vessel called Amelia, regardless of the different MMSI numbers?

    Hello,
    Let me clarify somethings.
The MMSI number, which is unique for each vessel, helps us identify and track every vessel.
Since you switched your transponder on and the position was updated, we will remove the wrong one in order for the record to be consistent.
I will inform you as soon as the wrong position is removed.
    Best regards,

Hello, this problem keeps repeating. I'm aboard my moored boat, but I'm getting more notifications that I'm hundreds of miles away from my actual location.
This time I'm getting email notifications that my boat is currently in Great Yarmouth, however I'm currently aboard the boat, moored in my home marina in Northern France, and the boat hasn't moved in seven months. Again my MMSI number is 235094272. Could we please resolve this problem? Regards
