Thanks. I checked all spam/junk folder and found nothing.  I think I did use my work email address instead of my home email address. Could that be the problem?  If so, how do we fix that?  Can you just send the link to my registered email address please?

    Iliana,

Could you please tell me how to disable the "Free Guide" pop up? I received the guide and have tried to stop the pop up in my preferences to no avail. The pop up is continuously appearing about every 10 minutes.

How can I make it stop?

    Thanks

    Dear Bill

Thank you for reaching out regarding this.
Kindly note that, as per Tom's suggestion, accepting the MarineTraffic cookies will resolve this for you.

Please be advised that in order to accept the cookies using FireFox
you can access the Options, click on the Privacy & Security tab, and on the Cookies and Site Data option,
click on Manage Permissions. From there simply add the MarineTraffic website address and click on allow.

I hope the above information helps clarify things.
Should you need anything further, please feel free to ask.

    Kind Regards,

I tried it all and even disabled the clearing of the session history and cookies upon closing. It still pops up.

I hate to compromise my security settings so that I won't get a pop up ad. I thought that maybe allowing cookies to stay on the computer for a couple of days would let me know if it worked. I thought that maybe I could then set my security settings back the way I want. But it didn't stop the guide pop up even when cookies were allowed.

Guess I'm destined to have it as a permanent feature but it's not really that big of a deal.

    Thanks for the help.

After allowing cookies, did you try once again to request the shipping guide? I think once you do that, it will set the cookie that prevents future pop-up ads.
