New Credit-based System For Notifications

Big news here! As of today, some important updates about Notifications are taking place.

Being one of the most used and longest-serving parts of the MarineTraffic platform, Notifications are being revised to be more functional and enhanced to respond to the growing demand for just-in-time alerting about events in the maritime industry.

What is actually changing?

• Credit-based Notifications

From now on, Notifications will cost credits which you may purchase on our platform.

• Channels

You’ll be able to use email and mobile push notifications; SMS notifications are no longer available. 

• Archive

All notifications you receive will be stored in your Archive for you to access and download anytime(Available for users with paid services including Notifications).
