    Dear all,

    Another example among the thousands of wrong MMSI's issued from this region of Asia - when  MarineTraffic will take initiatives to eliminate the wrong MMSI's automatically

    Thank you for sharing this. 

    I understand how you mean and I would like to share as well that as much as we'd like to delete this erroneous MMSI automatically, as you may know, MarineTraffic relies on the AIS Protocol in order to display vessel information. As such, we cannot automatically come to a conclusion about deleting a specific record without further investigation. 

     

    However, please know that we do strive hard to prevent these kinds of cases and we also hope for your understanding about this matter.
