    Dear Nils,

Thank you for contacting us and please accept our apologies for this delay.

You can still get a 3 Day Coastal Voyage History as part of your Basic subscription.
The Latest Position button that you are referring to is locked for Basic users.

In order to see the voyage history of the vessel, please click on the 'Itineraries History'
or the 'Past track' button that you see on each vessel's details page.
You can then see the voyage history information for the past 3 days.

Please let me know if I can clarify anything else or assist further here.
I will be happy to help you.

    Best regards,

Thank you for your response and sorry for the delay.

However, in my test the "Itineraries History" you refer to still only contains a small subset (port calls and noon/midnight positions) of the Latest Position information that was previously accessible. Please advise if I am using the service wrong. Otherwise would you be so kind and attend to this in order to have the service correspond to the information in the FAQ?

    Hello Nils,

    Thanks for your message.

The itineraries shown on MarineTraffic relate to information reported by the vessel in its AIS transmission.

We provide various itinerary information, based on reported data, including Midnight and Midday positions as well as Port Arrivals and Departures.

For the 'Latest Position' however, this feature is by default, locked for Basic users.

You can find more info about it here: https://help.marinetraffic.com/hc/en-us/articles/204313148-View-a-Vessel-s-Position-History

Just like viewing the Past Track info (which allows you to access animated positions for up to 3 days back as default), you can adjust the Date range and can go as far as 1 year ago. This ofcourse depends on your type of subscription.

You may check the Voyage Data services here and you can start a free trial.

Please let me know if I can clarify anything else or assist further here.

    Best regards,
