Extended response for API PS06 Vessel Positions in a Custom Area

Hello Support team,

I tried to use the mentioned API, but in the example of the documentation, there is only an example, giving the result with simple response. How can i set the parameters to get extended response?

https://services.marinetraffic.com/api/exportvessels/v:8/YOUR-API-KEY/MINLAT:value/MAXLAT:value/MINLON:value/MAXLON:value/timespan:#minutes/protocol:value

  What i want to know is how to set the msgtype parameter? in which position?

  Thank you for your comment.

  You could add the msgtype parameter at any position after the API key. Please note that if it is not used the default response which is the simple will be returned. 

  For instance: https://services.marinetraffic.com/api/exportvessels/v:8/YOUR-API-KEY/MINLAT:value/MAXLAT:value/MINLON:value/MAXLON:value/timespan:#minutes/protocol:value/msgtype:extended

  Dear Sasha,

  You may place the extra request parameter (msgtype) at any position after your API key and it will work. Below is a sample request:

  https://services.marinetraffic.com/api/exportvessels/v:8/YOUR-API-KEY/MINLAT:value/MAXLAT:value/MINLON:value/MAXLON:value/timespan:#minutes/protocol:value/msgtype:extended
