    Dear Rogier,

Thank you for clarifying this further.

I am Aline, also from MarineTraffic Support and I am jumping into this communication since my dear colleague Vasiliki is currently out of office.

I hope you accept our apologies for this delay, due to the recent holidays and amount of incoming requests.

After checking what you have reported. I can see this is an inconsistency which we are already working on a fix for. Our most sincere apologies for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you. It should be fully fixed soon and I will let you know once this occurs.

In the meantime, I remain at your disposal for any further assistance you may need.

    Dear Rogier,

    Thank you for your post.

I understand that you are referring to the circle point appeared around vessel icon. Please correct me if I am wrong.

If this is the case, I would like to inform you that this functionality is not possible to be removed.

However, could you please be s kind as to provide me with your feedback regarding this functionality?
I would be glad to forward your comments to our product team for further consideration.

    Dear Vasiliki,

The issue, when checking a past position/time of a vessel, after a while the present position pops-up. So I have to return all the way back to the past position to continue. This did not happen before.

    Good day Aline,

It seems indeed vessels do not auto-center anymore. But now, after zoom-in to a particular position (in past track), display 'auto-zoom-out' after a short while to the center of past track. Not sure if this is a setting I can adjust?

    Best regards,

    Rogier

    Hello Aline,

Issue is still the same. After approximate 45 seconds, display is zooming-out.

    Good day Aline,

I cleared browser history as per your suggestion in Chrome, but the issue persists.

Also in Firefox and Edge, same issue.

    Good day Aline,

After checking a few cases, it seems auto-zoom out happens once a new position for the vessel is received.

    Best regards,

    Rogier
