    Dear Willy,

    Thank you for your post.

We appreciate the note and advice you have shared.

Further to that, I would like to inform you that by changing our Notifications system, we help users to get both Notification emails and Mobile Push, without additional cost, as it was before.

However, kindly note that we do provide 30 free Notifications Credits Allowance per month and the Credit cost depends on the Notification event. The most common events are charged from 1 up to 5 Credits.

On the last note, please kindly note that we can avoid subscribing to our services, so as to get extra Notification Credits Allowance, but you can just add Credits in your account that can be used by you whenever it is needed within a period of one year.

Your opinion means a lot so feel free to share any additional feedback regarding our services.

    At your disposal,

    Thanks for your comments, Vasiliki.

I really appreciate the 30 free Credits per month but compared to how this worked earlier the problem is that a simple Noon notification now has a cost of 5 Credits instead of 1.

This means that even the simplest thing like doing a daily check on just one vessel is now impossible. After 6 days you're out of Credits and have to wait till the next month.

If I still really wanted my daily notification for this one vessel I would have to buy 5 Credits per day for the (on average) remaining 24 days per month. On a yearly basis this would amount to 24 x 5 x 12 = 1440 Credits per year.

If I buy my credits by the 1,000 this would cost me € 72 per year, and I can still just keep an eye on one vessel. For amateur use this is already far too expensive and if I wanted to do just one or two other things, my costs would explode.

So there's my reasoning: Although there will be enthusiasts who are willing and able to pay I think most people will find the new services unattractive. On the other hand you could launch a small yearly fee to welcome amateurs in the spirit of FlightRadar with enough room to track a few vessels.

I would be the first to sign up and think many others would be interested as well.

Thanks for your time and best regards,

    Willy

    Dear Willy,

    Thank you for your reply.

I can completely understand your concerns, however, please let me explain that according to the current way, you can get Notifications both via email and mobile push with the cost of only one channel.

Additionally, having subscribed to one of our Plans or our Notifications service you can activate the archived events, so as to store the Notifications of interest.

On the last note, since you are interested in constantly access the noon positions of a vessel, you may consider our Notifications service, which provides you with 300 Notifications per month, for almost 8 EUR.
