Fake Marine Traffic email

I received today an email supposed from you, giving today's Position Report for a yacht, which has been sold and changed name and flag in 2016.

It is clearly a FAKE, but a perfect copy; it seems your database has been attacked and violated!!!

Name of the boat LIBRA STAR, last real position San Remo (Italy) 27/07/2016; pretended position in the scam email WMediterranean, the *19/10/2018*.

I did not open anything, and deleted the mail.

  Hello Franco,

  Thanks for reaching out.

  I have looked into your account and from what I see, you have 1 active vessel Notification for a vessel named LIBRA STAR.

  Checking further, this vessel whose record you can find here is active.

  I would say that this vessel is a different one than the old Libra Star you are referring to.

  Despite this, if you want to delete/stop the notifications, please sign in and go to My Account>My Notifications tab

  and follow the instructions outlined here: https://help.marinetraffic.com/hc/en-us/articles/216090497-How-can-I-stop-receiving-Notifications-
