    I'm Aline, from Customer Support Team at MarineTraffic. I assume you are referring to the service Access 24 Plus that is offered in MarineTraffic Mobile App. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    I am sorry to learn you are unsatisfied with our services. All our features are designed to help our users get value from our services. 

    Please let me clarify that most of the information we provide in our platform is based on AIS-transmitted data, meaning that we firstly receive signals from the AIS transponders aboard of vessels, through our network of coastal stations and also via satellite, then the contemplated data is automatically updated in our system.

    What it's important to keep in mind about this process is that the positions received through terrestrial stations have always been available to all MarineTraffic users, while the data received via satellite have always been available through our satellite services:

    and Access 24 Plus, for MarineTraffic Mobile App.

    SAT Global is indicated to who needs to have access to satellite positions for the global fleet, while SAT Flexible is indicated for who needs to track 01, 03, 05 or 10 vessels via satellite. These two services are offered in a monthly or annual basis.

    Access 24 Plus is a more cost efficient solution for who needs to track one for 24 hours, given that the person would not have to subscribe to a monthly or annual service. He/she may purchase the service for one vessel for 24 hours, and, if he/she wishes, repeat the purchase for according to his/her interests.

    I hope this helps clarify how each service was designed to fulfil different needs.
