Wrong Flag for part of my Fleet
Dear MarineTraffic team,
Please let me share with you an error on greatest part of the Ponant cruise ships flags.
All 9 current navigating ships are registered in France, more precisely the French pacific territory of Wallis and Futuna.
This territory has no official Flag, except the French flag (please check Wikipedia here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Wallis_and_Futuna)
All below MMSI numbers refer to French territories who are all very officially, and diplomatically represented by the French flag, the blue, white, and red strips. The flag of our sail ship Le Ponant is the right one on MarineTraffic. By the way, as “Métropole” means main land, our sail ship is registered with an MMSI number starting with 227, but all other ships, including the ones with an MMSI starting by 578 (“Wallis et Futuna”), i.e. the 8 others of our fleet, must be represented by the French Flag.
- 226 : Métropole
- 227 : Métropole
- 228 : Métropole
- 329 : Guadeloupe
- 347 : Martinique
- 361 : Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon
- 501 : Terre Adélie
- 540 : Nouvelle-Calédonie
- 546 : Polynésie française
- 578 : Wallis-et-Futuna
- 607 : Îles Saint-Paul et Amsterdam
- 618 : Archipel Crozet et TAAF
- 635 : Îles Kerguelen et navires inscrits au RIF (Registre international français)
- 660 : Réunion ; Mayotte
- 745 : Guyane
Thank you for your answer,
Best regards,

Dear Iliana,
I hope this post finds you well.
One of my friends using MarineTraffic on Samsung via Play Store underlined that apparently, the fix is not done on this technical environment.
Can you please do the necessary ?
Best regards.
