24 hour Satellite Access

I have purchased the 24 hour satellite access to track a particular yacht. I have found that each time I purchase it there is a long delay before I can see where the yacht is. Often by several hours. Today I went to see about purchasing it again for this yacht and the app says that the latest satellite position was received 19h ago! There is a yacht right next to it that indicates their position was updated a minute ago. Why is this happening and how to fix it? The app is up to date on my phone.
