AIS upload via Android
I have a Wi-Fi hub connected to my ships AIS system. I would like to share this AIS data with MarineTraffic. I do not run a laptop or other computer on the boat on a routine basis. Since my AIS data is connected to my phone (Android) and my phone is connected to the internet, it seems this would be a great way for me to share my AIS data with Marine traffic. I have spent the last 10 days on the Erie Canal in the United states, and while I see many AIS boats, MarineTraffic has no visibility in this area. I would love to help!
Is there an Android app that allows sharing AIS data?

Thank you for reaching out.
I would like to note that normally we are getting the position reports through the signals that the AIS Transponder transmits. However, alternatively, the vessel in MarineTraffic can be registered and report her positions through our (free) On Course App.
