Show vessels eligible for Expected Arrivals under Vessel Database
Expected Arrivals and Vessel Database are essentially the same depending on how you place the customizable buttons except for 2~3 datatypes only.
However, Expected Arrivals show all vessels expected to arrive but miss thousands of vessels already arrived at their destinations. Vessel Database shows all vessels already arrived at their destinations through Vessel State but does not show Expected Arrivals. As a result, to track the global logistics flow, you have to download two sets of data from Expected Arrivals and Vessel Database and erase duplicates. This process is really inefficient and causes unnecessary costs to download duplicates.
Can you merge the Expected Arrivals and Vessel Database since they are not significantly different from each other? If not, can you show those vessels eligible for Expected Arrivals also under Vessel Database by adding one more column or button?

Thank you for your reply. I have been using Marine Traffic for a long time and have inquired about this issue over several years. But, for some reason, the answers do not change. Let me address this issue for the last time.
One of the greatest potential values of Marine Traffic is allowing one to understand real-time global SUPPLY/DEMAND and PAST/CURRENT/FUTURE international trade flow.
However, from the current Marine Traffic services:
1) In order to understand the current global supply, I have to use the Vessel Database to list the vessel based on TIMESTAMPS within a certain period. (Vessel Database is the only source for this purpose.)
2) In order to understand the past trade flow, I have to use the Vessel Database to compare daily changes in the LOAD CONDITION or DRAUGHT data. (Expected Arrivals and Port Calls are not optimal for this purpose.)
3) In order to understand the current trade flow, I have to use the Vessel Database to screen vessels that recently arrived at their destinations based on VESSEL STATE. (VESSEL STATE is shown only in the Vessel Database, and Expected Arrivals miss thousands of vessels that recently arrived at their destinations. In contrast, Port Calls include those vessels that arrived at a port for purposes (e.g., bunkering) other than loading/unloading)
4) In order to forecast the future trade flow, I have to use Expected Arrivals because the Vessel Database does not differentiate those expected to arrive in the future.For many years, I have wanted to see this streaming process of the real world under one frame without jumping from page to page. If you can merge the Vessel Database and Expected Arrivals, it will resolve all issues above.
Please let users decide the purpose of their pages with those customizable buttons instead of you trying to decide the purposes of the Vessel Database and Expected Arrivals and consequently limiting the potential of Marine Traffic data.
