    Hello James!

    Thank you for your post. My name is Vlada and I am happy to discuss this with you!

    In order for us to further look into this, could you please share with me some examples of the names of the vessels you have used in your searches, along with their MMSI numbers? In case you were looking for ports, please share the exact name of the ports.

    Regarding the various pages, kindly note that while you may find similar Filters and Columns in different pages, each page is designed for a different purpose. With that said said, if you wish to see the vessels that have arrived, it is recommended to use the Port Calls page of the Explore Tool. However, if you want to see vessels that are expected to arrive, I would recommend to use the Expected Arrivals page.

    Additionally, you can rest assured that I will share your feedback with the Product Team.

    Thank you in advance for your response! In the meantime, have a lovely weekend ahead of you.

    Kindest regards,

    Many thanks for your reply.

    Unfortunately, I cannot give you examples because I have terminated my subscription due to these inconsistencies, but you can check this with a few clicks. Mainly, the [Arrived At] data under the Expected Arrivals are inconsistent with [Actual Time of Arrival] under the Vessel Detail, Port Call, and Vessel Database. There are tens of thousands of these cases.

    FYI, although the Vessel Database does not provide [Actual Time of Arrival], you can infer by using [Vessel State] and [Lastest Underway Timestamp].

    I need to see both vessels that arrived at their destinations and are expected to arrive with their Vessel State. Currently, to do so, I have to download multiple sets of data and erase the duplicates because different pieces of information are scattered across multiple pages:

     1. Vessel Database pages to see [Vessel State];

     2. Vessel Detail, Port Call, or Vessel Database pages to see/infer [Actual Time of Arrival];

     3. Expected Vessel to see those expected to arrive.

    This process is inefficient and user-unfriendly and causes unnecessary costs for customers to download the duplicates only to erase them later.

    I understand you designed each page for specific purposes. However, instead of you trying to decide the purposes, I hope you let users decide on the purposes of their own pages by providing all information in Vessel Detail under a single Explorer system with those flexibly customizable buttons and indications for Expected Arrivals.

    While trying to decide the purposes of different pages, you are limiting other purposes of use and the further potential of Marine Traffic.

    Regards,

    James

    Dear James,

    Thank you for your detailed response!

    Please note that in regards to the Expected Arrivals page, you can indeed view the information regarding the port or vessel of your choosing. In order to do that, the slider of the 'Arrived At' filter needs to be moved all the way to the left, so as to be showing only the vessels that have 'Not Yet Arrived", as seen in the below screenshot.

    This slider can also show vessels that have arrived up to 1 month back, depending on your preference.

    With that said, you can rest assured that I will forward all of your feedback to our Product Team. We highly value the suggestions of our users and have made multiple changes and additions based on them.

    I would like to thank you once more for your detailed feedback. If you have any further questions or ideas, please feel free to let me know.

    Kind regards,
