Trying to add vessel details

Hello John!
Thank you for your post.
As I understand, you are referring to the sailing vessel Grace, under the MMSI number. From what I can see, the last position we received for her was on 2023-01-13, at 17:32 UTC.Kindly be advised that MarineTraffic relies on the AIS protocol to receive and provide vessel related info and positions to our users. This means that in order to change the vessel's details, the vessel owners (or crew) will need to update the vessel's transponder settings with the new details. Afterwards, since we need to receive both static signals and positions from the vessel, the transponder will need to be kept active for a couple of days, so as for it to be transmitting the signals.
Please rest assured that, as soon as our antennae collect the necessary amount of signals and positions, the new name and any other details will be automatically updated in our database.
Please note that the vessel will need to be located in an area within our Terrestrial AIS coverage. You can check our coverage with these instructions, by clicking here.
With that said, in order to upload a vessel's photo, you can go to the Photos Uploaded section of your MarineTraffic account.
Please note that after the photos have been successfully submitted, our team of community-based photo moderators will review them and, after their approval, they will be displayed publicly in the MarineTraffic Photo Directory (this process may last up to 48 hours).
